My name is David Mokso, a Hungarian artist based in Budapest, specializing in crafting animals and extraordinary creatures. For the past 7 years, I've worked on various projects made from wood, metal, cardboard, and sometimes even from trash! I have constructed many different things from a robotic raptor made of cardboard for a tech company to a dinosaur made with trash for Universal Studios.
Currently, my focus is on creating lifelike sculptures, primarily of animals, dinosaurs, and iconic movie characters.
However, I differentiate myself significantly from traditional sculptors in one aspect: I embellish my creations with light elements and transform them into functional tools, decor, or even furniture. I am not sure what profession this is, but I am sure that I am not a traditional sculptor. :)
My goal is to blend sculpture and furniture making to produce visually stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces that leave everyone in awe. I devote all of my focus, effort, imagination, time, and skills into each project individually to create something so impressive that nobody can pass by without saying, "WOOWWW!"
